Once upon a time there was NAPLES. The real Naples. The one of Pulcinella, the one of popular folklore, the one of the tarantella danced until late at night in Piazza Plebiscito, the one of the sfogliatella eaten at dawn. The one of San Gennaro, the one of the “Pizza Napoletana” and the one of the real Caffe' with the “5 C” as tradition dictates.

I have been fortunate enough to go to Naples several times in my life. As a child, as a boy and as a man.

The memory that immediately comes to mind is the smell of coffee in the morning in an old café near Piazza Plebiscito, where the coffee professor's test was always the same: the metal spoon inserted exactly into the centre of the cup of Neapolitan coffee had to sink very slowly to the edges of the cup thanks to the very dense cream of the coffee.

And that coffee was extraordinary, so creamy and intense that I have never drunk coffee like it again in my life except in that ancient coffee shop in my beautiful Naples.

I like to remember Naples like this, with the scent of that coffee that smells of Naples, that smells of life.

Because when you go to Naples the air you breathe is always the same.
That air that smells of Italy.
That air you breathe, passes through your mind and goes straight to your heart.

Today, we wanted to transform the real Naples into our Caffè CREMA DI NAPOLI created from the “recipe” of that ancient coffee shop that made history and that will accompany me throughout my life.
